We haven’t done a good job of keeping this up to date. There’s just been too much to do. I mean, think about it. There’s teeth to cut, cat tails to pull, brothers to beat up and parents to confuse. It’s never ending.
So summer is finally here in full swing and boy are we glad. Mom and Dad can just throw us out in the yard like the dog and we can be crazy. Bouncing off the fence is much better than bouncing off the walls inside.
Last summer we weren’t too adventurous. Don’t get us wrong, we did some fun stuff like Station Square for father’s day, the 4th of July parade, swimming and baptism. Oh, and we went on a mini-vacation to Edinboro. That was a disaster. It was our first time away from home and we just cried for about 9 hours straight. But here’s a cool pic of us with our cousins (this is when Lukas had his mohawk):
This year we have a lot of cool stuff lined up and we’re really looking forward to them. For instance:
- Big Butler Fair – Who doesn’t like a good fair, farm show and carnies! We especially can’t wait to see the carnies!
- 4th of July parade – Because we’re good yinzers (and yes, our chairs are already in place along route 22).
- Edinboro again – But we promised mom and dad that we won’t freak out the entire time, just for maybe like an hour or so. We just get nervous around our large and sometimes freaky family. If you know them, you wouldn’t blame us at all!
- Idlewild and Kennywood – Should be a good time.
- Yo Gabba Gabba Live! – Ok, this is technically not in the summer, it’s like the very end of the summer, but we’ve had tickets since like May and we’re super stoked for this. Seriously, the toddler event of the decade. If you ain’t a Gabba fan, you ain’t…well, if you’re from Pittsburgh, you know what we’re about to say.
So until next time, enjoy these pictures.
